Chalk art!

Yesterday was a beautiful 62 degree day so the kids drew art with sidewalk chart on driveway. Here are some of the masterpieces....

Tyler's "final draft" :-)

There each chose a square and went to town.

Jenna with her rainbow.

Meagan drew a picture of our beautiful day.

Tyler spent an hour and a half working on his.

Tyler's became a group project at times.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Okay, so these pictures are slightly out of order. This is an "iLove" (iPod) the kids made for their Valentines. I got the idea out of Family Fun Magazine. They are SO cute! The iPod is a box of conversation hearts and the earplugs are mini reeses peanut butter cups. The songs were "You got a friend", "All we need is love", "I want Candy" and "Happy Together".
We made heart shape pancakes with pink coloring and red sprinkles and the girls made chocolate dipped strawberries and yes, that is pink milk:-).

We all ate and then at 8am we brought Dad breakfast in bed...I think he liked the sleeping in part the best though:-).

This is the kids making the iLoves.
SO, as some of you know we got a huge (at least 8 in.) snow storm yesterday. I guess we will be doing some more crafts today and of course there will be some sledding so stay tuned for more pictures. HAPPY VAENTINE'S DAY TO EVERYONE!

The Primary Ward Talent Show

Ryan's abstract art; "The Beautiful Connection". He descibed how he creates his pieces of art.

Jeanna and Meagan did the splits for one of their talents. Mom had to get them at the end of the show because she wasn't quick enough to get it out before the singing began.

The girls sang a song with friend, Sidney, for their talent. They did a great job!

Chase's talent was making an egg sandwhich. "First you pray pam in a bowl and then crack the egg in the bowl..."

"...Then you salt and pepper the egg if you want."

"Next you mix the egg up and put it in the microwave to cook for 30 seconds..."

"...and there is a delicious egg sandwhich. " It was as cute as can be and afterwards he comes and as I am giving him a hug he says, "Yeah, I know I did great". What confidence!:-)
