Pinewood Derby time....

Ryan was excited about his car this year. He picked out the design and had fun painting it (with Mom's taping job to help with straight lines). His certificate was for most "aerodynamic".
Ryan's car is second from the left. Out of 4 races he won 1st place twice and 2nd place twice. He came in 6th place in the end...pretty dang good if you take into account there were 26 cars/scouts. GO RYAN!
We are off to Disneyworld in less than 12 hours. We'll post some pictures:-).

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

All dressed in green so as not to get pinched, all 5 kids are dressed for school. Actually, after this picture was taken Ryan and Tyler went and changed their shirts so they weren't wearing green and then had me draw a green four leaf clover on their arm so someone would pinch them thinking they weren't wearing green and then they could pinch them back 10 times after they showed them they were.
(On a side note, it looks like Chase needs new jeans...LOL)

Hobbies

Chase put together a spiderman glider with Dad and then had fun outside watching it glide since it was a beautiful 75 degree, sunny day. We thought we bought a kite but he seems to like the glider just as much.
Crazy mom was inside teaching the girls how to cross stitch. I don't know why we decided to do an inside activity on such a beautiful day but the girls are so cute; "Mom, am I doing good?" "Mom, does this look pretty" "I'm getting good at this, uhh mom?"
They have very intense looks on their faces while they are stitching. They are very proud of what they have done so far and can't wait to show Gamma and Grandma when they come next month for their baptism.

From the mouth of babes...

Our brave little sweeties sang "I wonder when He comes again" in Sacrament meeting today while Aunt Karen played the harp and Unlce Paul played the piano. They did fantastic! I am so proud of them! I had several people tell me how they really felt the spirit.
Meagan had the "comment of the week". I was pouring honey from the big jar to the small, squeezable jar for the kids and Meagan says, "That sure is viscus". What? Mom-"What does that mean?" Meagan-"thick and sticky". I asked her where she learned that word and she said they are studying gases, solids and liquids in school right now. How cute is that?!?!?
I love that Jenna and Meagan are best friends. They love to giggle and be silly together.
